List of documents for obtaining citizenship (reduced procedure).

1. Application (1 copy) for persons whose citizenship is not identified (stateless person). Application (2 copies) for citizens of the USSR states.

2. Documents certifying applicant’s personality, citizenship or statelessness (copy and notarized translation of national passport).

3. Registration certificate (if available).

4. Sojourn permit (for applicants who were not registered on the territory of Moscow after June 1, 2002)

5. Record from house register, copy of financial personal account

6. Applicant’s birth certificate (notarized copy)

7. As a document certifying applicant’s declaration of alienage or impossibility of expatriation, the following documents are accepted: certificate from diplomatic representation or consular institution of other state in RF, copy of declaration of alienage addressed to diplomatic representation or other institution of foreign state in RF with attested applicant’s signature and receipt of registered mail (if the declaration was mailed).

8. One of the documents certifying that the applicant was a citizen of the USSR in past (applicant’s birth certificate issued by a registration office on the territory of the USSR or by a diplomatic representation or consular institution of the USSR on the territory of a foreign state. If birth certificate is issued by authority of foreign state, the fact that applicant has been a citizen of the USSR can be proved by relevant official authority information, certificate of change of passport of the USSR citizen for a document of stateless person issued by the authority of another state of the USSR or passport of the USSR citizen.)

9. Copy of work record book (if available).

10. Application, form 1p.

11. Pension certificate, Certificate of Great Patriotic War participant (if available).

12. 4 photos for passport of RF.

13. State duty for form of passport of RF citizen.

14. Index card.
